For those of you who may be following this blog, I’m sorry I have been slacking… I have been feeling a bit under the weather for the past handful of days, so whatever time is not spent at training, Spanish class, or organizing the camp, I take full advantage of by sleeping. Here they call afternoon naps “siestas“ and I have had my fair share of them thus far. Unfortunately this trip was beginning to resemble my trip to Mexico New Year’s 2010, in which Montezuma took his sweet revenge on me, but luckily I am now on antibiotics so I can again focus all of my energy on the betterment of the El Alto community.
Even though I haven’t gotten the chance to post all my Bolivian intimate details, I decided to buy into the ultimate cliche, “a picture says a thousand words.” So to save my time and yours I will leave today’s publishing up to your imagination with a bit of photos and video footage of the past 5 days. I hope you enjoy viewing as much as I did living!

Yet another peaceful protest...

I have video footage from this which is more entertaining than you can imagine! However, the internet is very temperamental here, so I'll do my best to get it up!
